Email

You have a couple of ways to access your @abo.fi email. We recommend adding the IMAP account to your favorite email client, but if you are lazy you can read email with the barely usable web-mail.

Add account to email client

IMAP is probably the way to go, but if you are unsure, read this.

Incoming server settings

Username: [ÅA-username]@abo.fi
Password: [ÅA-password]
IMAP server: imap.abo.fi
Port: 993
Encryption type: SSL/TLS
Authentication model: Normal password

Outgoing server settings

Username: [ÅA-username]@abo.fi
Password: [ÅA-password]
SMTP server: smtp.abo.fi
Port: 465
Encryption type: SSL/TLS
Authentication model: Normal password

VPN

The ÅA VPN can be used to access internal services, such as remote desktops, file-servers and more.

Instructions in Swedish on the ÅA intranet, log in with ÅA username and password:
